It's ridiculous to host a comic event while the poor souls in the Gulf get their asses kicked once again.

I know it might choke you a bit to admit it, but if this had been Bush(announces expansion of offshore drilling, ignores event for nearly 2 weeks, hosts a big joke dinner)....

Let's just say the media response would have been off the charts. Huge double standard going on.
