LOL... catchy tune.

The cow name thing makes sense. When you name cows, they gain 'Pet' status, with all that implies, more likely to be secure and content.

The names of the first three milk cows we had when I was a kid on the farm:

Daisy
Molly
PoorSoul

After that they became a blur. Just freakin' milkcows that I had to get up and milk at 5am on a winter's day along with chopping the damn ice so they could drink.
