Clearly, Scott, this issue is very dear to your heart. I am curious........why do you think Obama came out with the drilling policy he did?

We are just coming out of the Great Recession. How can making oil "appear to be expensive" be the appropriate course of action at this particular moment when the last thing the average American needs is added taxation during these difficult times?

And yes, it is possible to use the tax revenues generated to put money directly in the pockets of the poorest and hardest hit (like rural populations) AND to channel it into new infrastructure.

Interesting but I am not sure what that means.
