ANWAR is simply the left going too far. As long as they stay on land they would be fine. I have spent many months up there and worked on the pipeline for years.

I would let them go in, take out the oil and leave. Wolves and foxes enjoy the company, sheltor and extra food-lol. Cariboo like to huddle up to the warm pipes when it gets down to 30 below zero.

I think the oil companies are vampires, but Jay Hammond made them tow the line and insisted they build the pipeline totally carefully and hired a zillion inspectors. It was done right.

They were so careful building that pipeline, they drove me nuts at times. No one was allowed even a foot off the paths and onto the tundra.

But deep offshore drilling is a different thing altogether.

A blowout a mile down is way too dangerous.
