Some comments from brothers Worden today. Their charting software is decent (telechart), but I have found their stock-specific prognostications somewhat lacking. I think Jeff will agree.

TIPS & HINTS (Wednesday November 5, 3:00 P.M. ET)

Looking at the 10 most active components of the S&P 500 (SP-500) over the last five market days, here are our top-of-the-head comments. Check the charts out yourself. These are enormously influential stocks.

INTC (most active by far): In a shambles.

WMX: In a shambles.

CSCO: At new highs -- but underlying support is shaky at best. CPQ: Trying to rally on light volume, but the pattern is ominous.

AMAT: After a long rise the stock blew apart like a stick of dynamite. Topped with a vengeance. Bouncing. Horrible BOP.

ORCL: A ray of light? Possibly has found a bottom. But only possibly.

COMS: Bouncing. However, expect it to test the April bottom before this is over. And that's a long way down.

MSFT: BOP buying has appeared. May try for a new high soon.

MO: Ambiguous. Could rally.

SUNW: Trying to rally, but the trend is down. Enormous BOP selling.
