Hello Joe, been a while. The article you posted outlines the latest supporting data suggesting the scenario Alphonse painted recently might be reality. This quote is unbelievable.

Apparently, after creating this situation to help decrease sales, they then put the web server folks silently on plans for the new buildings. The following statements seem to suggest they haven't even started work on their next version of Web server.

>>Novell officials say they will deliver a new version of the Novell Web Server that can rival the Novonyx offer. They just do not know when or what the product will contain. ''We know we have to reevaluate the features we need to add to our Web server that will present a stronger argument for existing users to stick with us,'' Greene said.<<

What is it with Novell? If I remember correctly, Novonyx will be located within Novell buildings. Several ex-key Novell employees are on the Novonyx board and management. The situation seems painfully obvious. They seem to be downplaying all of their products except border manager. Isn't there a big trade show in the next week or so? If Novell dosen't have some big products ready, It's probably over.
