Since that second post, Jeff apologized for the tone of his email. We have exchanged a couple of friendly emails.

It's too bad he did not say up front what his term meant and give me an example. I would have posted that and linked to his book.

Interestingly he admitted "Frankly, as a business procedure, it has limited applicability."

However, one person emailed an example showing a business that Jeff confirmed is "crowd sourcing" - Software application testing.
