It sounds like a wise move to me. Selling assets to Intercardia is like selling them to themselves. The only way I see IPIC going out of business is if they 1) get absorbed by a large drug company or 2) sell all their assets to Intercardia and Intercardia, in effect, becomes both companies. An interesting way to hedge the later possibility would be to short IPIC but go long Intercardia.
