The city of Nashville has been flooded out. The Opryland Hotel has been evacuated as it supposedly has 10 feet of water in it. That sounds too high to me, but it may be true. The Opry House itself is under water. It sounds like Vanderbilt University is doing fine, but not the areas where students and faculty live off campus. sitemason.vanderbilt.edu

Despite their evil sin of stealing the Houston Oilers just before they got good enough to finally make the Super Bowl, my heart goes out to Nashville.

All in all, Memphis may have made the better decision to have their main city attraction the ducks at The Peabody Hotel.
