I bought SMOD at 20, hoping for 30. I sold at 30 a few months later, for a 50% profit. Great. Except that it went to 40,50,60,70 within the same year!!!! Now I have Freide Goldmann. I bought it at 60 & 78 its now post split 45 (90 pre). What do I do? My target price was 50, and I know it will be there soon. But look what happened with SMOD!!! I have losers sometimes. So when I have winners I want them to run on and on if they so choose. How does one decide when to sell?????
Unlike some, I have no trouble selling a loser. I just sell. But selling a winner????
