There is no doubt the cost of oil is hurting the airlines but I have to believe solutions will be found to reduce the oil requirement for planes, allowing tourism to continue in HW. For an example Boeing's new dreamliner consumes significantly less fuel that previous comparable planes.....in part because they have gone heavily into lighter composites.

"By the time we hit peak oil...say 2025......"

say 2005...and they have cut down on petroleum, as a number of them have gone bankrupt.
