You're still coming up with straw man arguments. No, I am not. You don't want big gov't in DC then don't run to them every time you scrape your knee. How about you (and Don and JFShepard) just tell us what you believe? If it's the same as what I believe, then that ought to be a good thing, right? If it isn't, then we should debate over the differences. What are you talking about? Calling each other a hypocrite, especially over issues that we might agree with, is just plain divisive. You would be fostering the very polarization that is driving you to leave this country. Fine. I thought my position was very clear after all these years. Here are my major concerns: Reduce the cost of defense, provide enough of a safety net that people don't end up in the streets, encourage innovation in the private sector and fiscal responsibility.
