Nothing in the constitution says the fed's have legal authority over 'em though.

In fact the powers NOT specifically granted to the federal authority are RESERVED for the STATES.

(Which was the exact point I made earlier: when the feds wanted to ban this one drug called 'alcohol' they had to AMEND the constitution to give themselves authority. Then, when they decided to remove the ban they were required to amend the constitution once again. What is the difference? Where do they claim the authority from now? --- Only because of ACTIVIST JUDICIAL RULINGS that have stretched the constitution's commerce clause to cover every thing under the sun... even when there is no commerce crossing state lines....)
