I've seen it work the other way as well when the stock gets walked down to the PP level if it is trading too far above where the PP is targeted. However, in this case the company was approached by investors seeking to acquire shares. That is the reason why there was no broker, warrants or fees. I have seen other companies in very strong positions do PP's with all of the usual goodies attached for all of the usual suspects, but the fact that EAS is in the position of having money thrown at them and they've chosen to do right by shareholders is something I think people should consider when looking at the company.

Also, people have been wondering about a PP for months. There was no mystery that they would need to raise money. One of the EAS guys told me at PDAC that he was surprised Hawkins had held off for so long. He said if it had been him, he would have done it much sooner (and therefore at a much lower price). It's good to know we have a guy with "cojones de ferro" at the helm.
