Regulatory agencies are put in place to primarily bust the lies and work around (short cuts) of agencies they regulate. If we know well that BP lies, then why did we, our Govt., let off their guard.

This tragedy can do without the political overtones. Always inducing politics is slowly leading this country towards a third world situation.
