Nokia board backs strategy, shareholders cry foul

* Chairman says board fully supports management strategy

* Ollila to continue as chairman

* Shareholders criticise leaders at annual meeting

* Shares down 1.3 pct, underperforming sector

By Tarmo Virki, European technology correspondent

HELSINKI, May 6 (Reuters) - Nokia's (NOK1V.HE) chairman said the board fully supported management's current strategy, while small shareholders in the world's top cellphone maker criticised it at the annual meeting.

Nokia has started to build a new business by offering Internet services ranging from music downloads to e-mail, but these have gained little traction so far.
