you're missing the point...

what karl was saying is there is no real LIQUIDITY....volume does not equal liquidity, computers trading shares back and forth thousands of times a day, then suddenly a big sell order and whooops no BID! so the computer goes seeks one out until it's found and THATS how you get stocks trading for a penny

this incident was demonstrating the fragility of a CONTRIVED SYSTEM
