Cool, computers playing chicken with each other and doing probabilistic analysis of market responses. The whining about "stops" being blown out is silly. If people don't want to "stop" at a certain point, they shouldn't make such offers which are there to be accepted.

<The banks and others who have argued for innovation have just proved once again that their brand of "innovation" means that the average investor gets bent over the table. You cannot, as an investor, be in the market until these outrageous practices are permanently barred from the exchanges.>

I'm in the market and I don't see any problem. In fact, I quite like such fun because such times provide me with opportunities which come along rarely. The computers are doing real-time live-ammunition testing to see how many people come charging out when such things happen. If the numbers look overwhelming, the computers quickly retreat back to a safe level having nabbed some "stops" on the way and defeated the computers which had not be programmed as well as their competitors.

I have no idea why such practices should be barred from the exchanges.
