If the recently revealed agreement between AAPL and AT&T is true, extending AT&T's exclusive right to the iPhone until December, in return for a low data rate for iPad users on AT&T, then it's clear we won't see an iPhone or iPad for CDMA systems until much later.

I looked at the HTC Incredible yesterday and believe it would do as well for me as the iPhone, but I still would prefer a model with a global chip to replace my Blackberry 8830. So I guess I'll wait for an HTC with a chip for both GSM/WCDMA and CDMA2000.

The camera feature on the HTC is, well, incredible!
