Only problem with that otherwise charming cartoon is that the GOP Governor of HI, (and the state's Director of Data Services and keeper of the official state records archive), have both sworn that they personally examined the ORIGINAL document in the data archive, and that the information contained on the current state-issued birth certificate is not contradicted by anything on the old deprecated one.

So how can anything be "lost" (as your cartoon asserts) when the officials swear to have held it in their hands? <GGG>
