It is what's written there. Off to the left you'll see two menu entries, permanent(POMO) and temporary. When you click Permanent there's nothing. Then you have to check historical. You'll find entries encompassing $300B in coups over the last year. You can see in US Financial Data that all that went into Adjusted Reserves. FED created reserves. So what? It's worthless. How does it become worthwhile? Has to be borrowed by corporations through banks called C&I loans. Currently, C&I is still running off. That means net liquidation. That is, no net borrowing so the extra reserves just sit.

Next, check temporary. Well six months ago they were doing some penny pitching at 16 basis points, but not much else. You have to go to 2008 mid year when FED was still in control of something. How can a control freak hope to feel good about himself when they're throwing pennies at him?

This all doesn't have anything to do with FED's asset purchase on its own balance sheet of MBS recorded as I've previously explained to you.
