Dak is an idiot of course. I think the Catholic church is wrong about a great many things and has vast amounts of blood on its hands.

However I don't think its right to malign it for things it didn't do ... and it didn't actually kill any scientists for their work. Thats just a fact. Furthermore, that church has an admirable tradition of scholarship.

What is particularly sick is that Dak attends a Catholic church each Sunday, converted to marry his wife, and raised his children in that church and sent them to a Catholic school .... and then comes online to express his inner resentments. Recently he compared witnessing a baptism ceremony in his church to a Nazi rally. It doesn't take a genius to figure out Dak is expressing deep resentments involving his family .... things he can't admit openly .... and displacing them to the church they make him attend.

We see the same thing with Evile Latrine (and we all know who I'm talking about). Married to a Jewish woman he fills SI with antisemitic propaganda. Another sicko.

I wouldn't be surprised if Solone is found sitting fuming silently in his wifes church each Sunday morning. And dealing with the poorly understood resentment by hurrying home and copying and pasting crap from his favorite "freethinker" sites.
