I agree that this was a stupid statement. What difference does it make whether the guy acted alone or in a small group -- or if he has a personal letter of recommendation from OBL? It's still a jihadi terrorist attack. No doubt that if he would kill and injure several people, bin Laden would be honoring the guy.
