The Democrats need to heed the clout of the tea party while they fight it out in the primaries. The tea party folks are pretty involved and they will surely come out and vote in large numbers. The Democrats need to put up candidates who name name recognition. If they don't and put up candidates like Sestak who do not have statewide name recognition, then they risk losing seats. In Arkansas, Halter is known statewide and hence that state's primary is too close to call.
