Greece isn't the problem. CA is much bigger and we are only solvent because of Obama bailouts that were used to not fire so many government workers.

CA and most other states are modeled after GM. That is they rely on union labor that they over pay and over promise pensions to avoid Social Security and get good short term results... that were good only decades ago... Now they need to restructure like GM after the original politicians that promised the unions excessive salaries and benefits that the public would not be able to afford and remain competitive have left with after they got their rewards, just like GM.
