Yep...the local school board has been on a path to financial ruin for decades. The extra large tax base allowed them to get by with it for years, but it was clear to any rational human that their rate of spending increases were not sustainable given caps on property tax rates and minimal growth.

For this district to throw them out is only slightly less amazing than having martians land down by the post office.

Very good news indeed.
