Well, lil ol' me just can't grasp the big picture. though often the big picture is actually made up of small things that come together.

again, GG is misreading Kagan's actual writings on the subject he cares about.

And Obama is not 'continuing' anything in your insinuation. it will take time, and it will be done right. when you've waited centuries for certain things, and then decades for other certain things, it is silly to get all in a hurry. privelaged straight white males have the luxary of not realizing the arc of history is long. seriously, it ain't nothing to him. I understand. I realize he might not see the connection between her view on DADT and other subjects of rights of people. but those who are not as privelaged might well see the connection.
