There is scant evidence, if any. What GG has had to say, has been clearly refuted. Over time, GG is reminding me more of a rather typical form of far-left dude for whom the stage is his and females are there to be cheerleaders (groupies).
I've been following many major blogs for a long time in terms of who they mention and link to, in terms of other writers, and how they talk about or mention women in power. Most the major bloggers are men, though there are women out there writing, but the dudes link to each other. read the blogs day to day and see how often any of them link to or mention a woman writer. not often. TNC, a young (to me) straight male black blogger links to women more than most, in my reading. partly to try and see issues from different sides, as he realizes he has his side, and one that is mostly not seen... again... and I should have mentioned... it's white male writers linking to other white male writers. the msm got nothing on the major blogs in terms of being bland.
well, I carried on, but point is, I am not surprised at the reaction to Kagan. she is a woman. the 'left' was muted re Sonya as she is brown. but Kagan might be Jewish, but that is not played up... she is white female. all bets are off re attacking her. she is a woman. and America has not changed that much yet. and the 'left' loves a John Edwards and can't figure out what an asshole he is until it is far too public to ignore, while hating Hillary. |
