That particular drilling platform is an older one, so it didn't have the automatic capping mechanism required of the newer ones... BUT, to halt all drilling because of one accident is like stopping the manufacturing of automobiles because someone had an accident on the road... why not pass a federal law making it illegal to take showers just because someone slipped and fell in the shower? It's completely nuts and over reacting, typical political stupidity and lack of any common sense... GZ
