HMS Awarded Pharmacy Claim Audit Contract by State of New Jersey finance.yahoo.com May 11, 2010 NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HMS today announced that it had been awarded a contract by the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services Division of Medical Assistance (DMAHS) to conduct audits of paid claims submitted by pharmacy and durable medical equipment providers to DMAHS programs, including Medicaid, Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled, NJ Family Care, Senior Gold, AIDS Drug Distribution Program, and General Assistance. HMS will focus on enhancing the program integrity of the State funded health care programs by performing document and on-site reviews of pharmacy and durable medical equipment claims. This contract is for a four-year term with two one-year renewal options.
