No. It deprives our nation of jobs we could have for one thing. Second, I know liberals who object to using our own resources now would never agree to use it in the future. Third, it doesn't necessarily destroy our landscape anymore than other energy sources would. Fourth, "just so somebody can make money", implies there's a better way to run an economy than on the profit motive. History shows otherwise. Thats enough.
