It was bizarre. Last week esp.

You think you had it weird??!! I was trading TYP, which is an ultra-short ETF and it fluctuated between $9.50 and .15 cents. within the course of 10 minutes.

I hear ya.

Something not well known.....the next day, Friday, AAPL went down to a penny but within the hour, someone went it and fixed it and none of the charts show that drop.

I also had been distracted at the time and when I returned it was trading $5 below where I had bought it. Fortunately it stabilized above my entry price and I made a decent profit. But now I can't feel comfortable trading it because the chart is too messed up.

Its not so much the charts......Friday the hedgies purposely took us down in order to put in more normal bottoms. However, my concern is that they have not figured out why the problem happened in the first place......so what's to stop it from happening again?

But just couldn't understand why ANY ultra-short ETF would have traded near zero. QID had a 15 point swing as well.

It was a crazy day.....I almost had a near death experience. ;-)
