Ted, let me try again. If you pass by Home Depot and see a group of Hispanic men standing around, what comes to your mind? They're probably illegal immigrants, right? There you go, you just "profiled" in your mind. Now if you're a federal agent in charge of rounding up illegal immigrants, what would you do? Go after the easy target like this? Oh no, you can't do that, the ACLU would be on your ass because you're "racially profiling." You'd lose your job and, being branded a "racist," you'll have a tough time finding another. Basically, there's no way to enforce immigration law without being accused of racially profiling. Tenchusatsu
