Kind of convenient for Shep to claim he wants to save our domestic oil "for strategic reasons."

With oil shieks and terrorists basically getting rich off of us, now would be a good time to use our domestic oil "for strategic reasons," no? Tax the heck out of it and use the proceeds to move toward energy conservation and alternative energy sources.
