Speaking of safeguards.....How about we do a forensic accounting audit on all members of the house and senate(and immediate families) with the idea of prosecuting any politician with even 50 cents of unaccounted for personal assets. How about we give them full credit for being absolute financial retards(when it comes to other people's money) with no reason to be trusted with public funds....not very much to recommend any of them, whether they are your flavor or not.
