Wow partition hell, LOL

I have had about 8 hard drive fail on me in the past 20 years. The last one was in 2004, the hard drive started to make a clunking sound it was the read heads or something I ran a 4 hour diag a my Dell notebook and it failed the test. Was able to recover the data on the drive and image it to another new drive.

I treat my hard drives like fine crystal, no drops or bumping.
