Image Back up. I ran up the freebe WD Acronis mentioned earlier on the thread and also now testing the freebe Paragon version (which anybody can get a version of).

I cant use Norton Ghost 14 on Win 2k Prof, so I put them both on that OS.

I have image checked the Acronis version. Paragon version in process, but it is working fine. Runs similar to all their software, you do the changes then press a button to commit them.

Acronis takes about 15 minutes to hammer through all 7 partitions, about 80 GB in total, and dump it on the other drive. Paragon looks to take about 25 minutes. By comparison Norton Ghost 14 takes about 15 minutes too.

WD Acronis has a button called "Disc Cleaner". I thought it was just to clean up dross files on the disc. Fortunately I spotted that it was going to permanently delete the whole disc before I ran that facility -lol-

They both run like tops. Highly recommended.
