Liberal:

The problem is these ~isms become ideologies and their followers ideologues. When I worked for a left of center councilman in LA, I became friends with another council deputy and we used to hang out together.....go on breaks, eat lunch etc.....but not date. She worked for a councilwoman who was very left of center along with two other councilpeople......and the people who hung out in that clique were very rigid ideologues. My friend did not like them much. When they saw her hanging out with me, she almost lost her job.

Ideologues are too rigid for my blood, afraid to compromise, willing to fall on the sword for their cause, etc. That's not what I am all about and Obama strikes as being the same way.
