These currency fluctuations seems to be fairly large these days. Not good for business I expect, except on a temporary basis for one side or the other, but damaging overall.

I don't know if you ever have tried to right a capsized sailboat, but the water inside the boat is a problem. It moves to the lower side of the boat making things more unstable. If you manage to tip the boat up the other way the opposite happens and again the boat capsizes to the other side. Much worse (much much worse) is the momentum of the water moving from one side to the other. The only solution, if it is feasible, is to bail out the water as soon as possible. (cough).

I expect we will be hearing more from Mervyn or Ben before long.
