History says bulls can't mount a credible defence in SHTF.
Things could get very nasty shortly, IMHO. Gold should
decouple, since SHTF tanks the govt. bonds, something
that enters the base of the derivative pyramid... Gold is
the ONLY safety left - err., John Law stuff.

We know it must burn, eventually. Is NOW the moment of truth?
I dunno.
