Ted, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Obama is trying to make America more like socialist Europe.

For the millionth time, European nations have capitalist economies that provide their citizens with more social services than the US as well as higher taxes.

And passing pseudo universal health care made us more like the rest of the world, not just Europe. That includes Canada, AU, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, China, Singapore, Japan etc.

He may be taking measured steps toward that goal, which is smaller than what true socialists like you and SilentZ would prefer, but his political ideals and motivations are not much different.

I really hope you learned a lot about engineering when at Cornell because you learned damn little about anything else.

What Obama is doing is unshackling this country from the tyranny of the rich. Its long overdue. Try to enjoy the ride.
