I thought BP had admitted, days after the incident began, that it was too much for them and they could use all the help they could get from the government?

As to Katrina, what has Barack Obama done to help NOLA? It isn't like the problem just ended the day Obama took office.

The Bush administration did a far better job WRT Katrina than Obama has in the Gulf.

Of course, the Gulf is in the South; not being in NYC or Chicago, it obviously isn't a high priority for this administration.
