Almost all of them are religious. People researching crime don't "want" to hear anything. They don't "want" to hear a phony name, they don't "want" to hear a phony address, they don't "want" to hear anything.

Interesting! Let me speak really slowly for you. You are suggesting that most of the prison population are atheists rather than the one/fifth of ONE percent indicated by the official statistics. But there is a problem with making up foolish nonsense: The facts will hit you right in the ass!
Now all studies outside prison (and I will stick to North America for now) indicate that atheists are from .1 to .5 % of the population. Let us use the United States and we will round the figures off. The U.S. has about 310,000,000 people.
.4 % of Americans claim to be atheists. That amounts to about 1,240,000 people. Now statistics show that the United States Prison population is 1,403,091. According to you ALL the atheists are in prison and making up lies about being Muslims, Jews, Christians, etc. etc.!!! And about 1.2 million religious people (Catholics, I guess) are walking the streets pretending to be atheists!! Hmmmmm.....
I think I will go back to the facts! .2 percent of the prison population are atheists. Religious indoctrination and superstitious thinking is a recipe for anti-social behavior. |
