I'm fairly certain that Prechter uses the Daily Sentiment Index as the source for his figure. tradersnarrative.com It's a small trader index. They were all wrong then, too It isn't used in that fashion. Similar to many indicators, it has an upper limit and a lower limit. An indicator can be almost 100% Bullish for extended periods of time. The question isn't that it's time to sell, the question is do you really want to enter Long at this point in time.
