The point, fool (had you read my post), is that Obama, by opening his ignorant-assed mouth, removes incentive from BP to pay for the spill. They are already spending far more than they're legally obligated to spend.

Unless BP is actually not making an appropriate effort to deal with the spill -- which there is not any evidence of -- Obama should be providing MORE incentive by telling people that BP's cooperation is crucial, they're doing a good job under terrible circumstances (which I think they are), and encourage them to continue to do so.

Instead, he takes the "We Hate Corporations, at least in public" approach. All BP has left is its effort to salvage its reputation. If Obama is going to take THAT away from them, then I would not blame them for saying "F*ck You, we tried, and got no appreciation whatsoever. You fix it".
