Hey Patrick, great response. I agree with all of your points.

There continue to be deflationary events occurring. Look at the AUD/$ short rates are 425 basis points higher in Australia than here thus you get a positive carry every day and it's considered a commodity currency, and it's been under selling pressure as the EUR's survival as a major currency is questioned. Purchasing price parity for the EUR/USD is said to be about 1.10.

Jim Rodgers was commenting this past week that he'd be reluctant to buy Gold at a new all time high. Although he would not be selling.

I guess it's the turtle traders who are buying the break out!!
