You run the numbers Start with every city in the country that is bankrupt. Then count how much taxes have gone up, especially property taxes to pay for what has transpired so far. I suggest you go back 20 years for this calculation. Next add in pension plans that are $3 trillion in the hole. And hedge funds did exactly what to cost taxpayers money? Mish
