I am not sure that Kagan ever tried any cases...I know she has argued a few appeals to the USSC.

I do think that the President is entitled to his pick unless she proves to be some whacko and I think she clearly has the legal acumen and training to decide cases on a rational basis.

This is where I disagree with many on the right. Elections have consequences. And I don't see how we on the right can oppose a nomination like this while decrying what was done to Bork, Thomas, Alito, etc. Why should we as conservatives stoop to the tactics and rhetoric of the unhinged left?

Naturally, her background should be vetted....but barring some sort of major transgession I think Obama should get his pick.
