Gold has to be dug up and held somewhere. The reason gold is so bad is the cost of producing it when all that is required is a measurement of value. <So how are you going to get he "Qi" up and running then where it will gain common acceptance? > That's not really the hard part. The hard part is security - that's the main issue as far as I can tell so far. Pirates stealing "gold" is a major concern. Getting things accepted is easy when people see something really good which is really cheap. Google was accepted quite easily. Check out how Skype was accepted.
