Look at when our STEEPEST rises in DEFICITS have happened. They happened during Reagan and Bush II.

And Obama.

Not that "steepest rises" is a very useful point to measure. After all increase the deficit from a dime to a dollar and its ten times as big as it used to be, increase from $10 trillion to $11 trillion and its only ten percent bigger.
